Homeopathy – Homeopathy was invented by the German physician Samuel Hahnemann in 1796. It is a natural and gentle treatment method that has proven to be effective in treating various mental and physical conditions in infants, children and adults. Homeopathic treatment refers to the person as a whole and to all of his characteristics – physical symptoms, mental characteristics, sleep habits, dreams, eating and other characteristics. Homeopathic treatment allows a person to undergo a deep recovery process and raise his or her health level.

Homeopathic remedies are derived from materials that come from plants, minerals, or animals, such as purple onion, arnica (herbaceous), including crushed bees, white arsenic, poison ivy, belladonna (deadly nightshade), and stinging nettle. Homeopathic medicines are often made in the form of sugar balls and given under the tongue; They can also be in other forms, such as ointments, gels, drops, lotions, and tablets. “Individual” treatments or tailored to each person – it is not uncommon for different people in the same situation to receive different treatments.

For many years, Hahnemann’s research was unsuccessful until he encountered what he thought was an amazing observation: he took a small amount of cinchona shell, containing quinine, the drug used to treat malaria, and developed the symptoms of malaria. From this observation he developed the first law of homeopathy, “Curentur Similibus Similia,” or similar cures. In other words, drugs that cause specific symptoms can be used to cure diseases that cause the same symptoms.

Homeopathy has developed a lot of additional “laws”. The law of tiny doses was in fact a later development by Hahnemann, but today is often the main characteristic of homeopathy. This law states that when drugs are diluted with water or alcohol, it is in fact becoming more active and stronger in its effect.

Hahnemann also developed, as a foundation of homeopathy, the theory of his illness, called the theory of miasma. According to this theory there are three miasmas that are responsible for all humans’ diseases, and homeopathic remedies are directed to the treatment of these harmful miasmas.

The goal of homeopathic counseling is to find the “totality of symptoms,” physical, mental, and spiritual. This goal can be achieved by building a “homeopathic disease history” that includes such questions as: Do you feel sad when you hear classical music, are you overly organized, do you have a cool personality? This information is combined with the symptoms of the patient, and its appearance as hair color. The homeopath then decides which medication is appropriate for the constitution.
